Shakespeare's curse

Full-length play

A playwright tries to reclaim glory and show the world she still has the ability to create something beautiful by creating a play about the origins of the Scottish Play curse. During her attempt, however, accidents and misfortunes befall those around her, all under the watchful eye of a ghost. In the end, either she succumbs to the curse's power, or realizes her own strength.

One Night Stand Theater hosted a staged reading of Shakespeare's Curse on Saturday, March 26, 2016 at 2:30 p.m. at the Vintage Theatre in Aurora, Colorado.

These are some of the pictures from a rehearsal.

In February 2015, I was one of three playwrights chosen for a workshop with playwright Matthew Lopez during the Colorado New Play Summit held at the Denver Center for the Performing Arts.
